Harlequin Shrimp feeding on starfish_01

This pair of Harlequin Shrimp found their favorite meal, a starfish, in the sandy bottom of a coral reef. Harlequin shrimp are the most striking crustaceans in the world, and reach about 5cm (2 in) in length, live in pairs, and feed exclusively on starfish, including crown-of-thorns starfish. However, they prefer the smaller, more sedentary Red Starfish.
