The Epaulette Soldierfish, aka Kuntee Squirrelfish, is a nocturnal species with large eyes and a broad bar behind the head. It is usually seen in caves and crevices during the day, but at night comes out into the open to feed. The Tuamotus atolls feature rich ecosystems of underwater topography, thrilling pass dives, and huge variety of marine life dense along the reefs with surgeonfish, butterflyfish, soldierfish, wrasse, trevally, grey reef sharks, eagle rays, snappers and moorish idols.
