Dunes and Mangroves_drone_08

Mangroves are among the most valuable ecosystems on the planet. Magdalena Bay is the largest wetland in Baja California and provides habitat for some of the most pristine and biologically important mangroves in the world. Coastal desert mangroves store up to five times more carbon than tropical mangroves. The contrast between these sandy desert dunes and the lush, green mangroves creates an almost surreal view of texture and color.
