Coral encrusted Thorny Oyster closing

Thorny Oysters cement themselves to coral reef or another suitable substrate. 
They have numerous eyes lining their mantles and a well-developed sensory nervous system, helping them detect changes in light and motion. That allows the Thorny Oyster to react to environmental changes like the shadows cast by an approaching predator.
