A huge school of Bigeye Jacks, aka Bigeye Trevally, form a fish tornado in an amazing display of courtship. Creating a moving, swirling column of fish is a unique courtship behavior of the bigeye jacks. 


Spawning coloration for Bigeye Jacks

Bigeye Jacks swim in pairs during mating season, when the males darken to almost black and swim beneath the female in preparation for spawning.
